How crowded is the Pipedrive Marketplace and who gets the reviews?

Measured 2026-09-08. All 494 listings in the public sitemap, read individually.

494 apps from 417 companies, and 14 of them built by Pipedrive itself take 43.2 percent of every review in the catalogue. The top ten apps take 61.7 percent. The median app has 3 reviews and 146 apps have none at all. 353 of the 494 are paid, and a paid app has a median of 2 reviews against 5 for a free one.

Pipedrive publishes a review count and a star rating on every listing, and an install figure on some. Read one listing at a time and it looks like a busy market. Read all 494 and the shape is the same one that shows up on every marketplace we have counted: a short head, and a long tail with nothing in it.

Pipedrive's own apps take 43 percent of the reviews

14 of the 494 listings are published by Pipedrive itself. Between them they hold 14,098 of the 32,616 reviews in the catalogue, 43.2 percent. These are the integrations a new customer meets first: Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom, DocuSign, QuickBooks, Trello, Asana.

The top ten listings, official and third party together, hold 61.7 percent. The single largest, Google Meet, holds 12.7 percent on its own.

The median app has three reviews

146 apps, 29.6 percent of the catalogue, have never been reviewed. Another 136 have between one and four. Two thirds of the marketplace sits below five reviews.

Charging makes the tail longer

Paid apps are the majority and the quieter half. A paid listing has a median of 2 reviews and a 34.8 percent chance of having none, against a median of 5 and a 16.3 percent chance of none for a free one. Of the twenty most reviewed apps, 11 are paid; of the top fifty, 31.

The install figure does not agree with the review count

Where Pipedrive shows installs, the number is a rounded floor. On ten listings the review count is larger than that floor, which cannot be true of a live figure.

The median ratio of reviews to the shown install figure across all 65 is 34 percent. A review rate of one in three would be extraordinary. Treat the Pipedrive install badge as a stale floor, not as usage.

How this was measured

On 8 September 2026 we read the marketplace sitemap at pipedrive.com/en/marketplace/sitemap.xml, which listed 494 app URLs, and opened every one. Each listing page embeds a __NEXT_DATA__ JSON block carrying the app record (isFree, publisher, categories, flags, score average and total) and a rating summary (approximateInstalls, totalReviews, the score histogram). All 494 returned that block. Nothing was sampled and nothing was estimated.

Pipedrive sits behind Cloudflare and refuses plain command line requests with a challenge, so the pages were fetched from an ordinary signed out browser session at about three per second.
