sellerkit measured data

Which app marketplaces publish install counts, ratings and prices?

Measured 2026-09-08. 26 marketplaces, each opened and paged directly.

Fewer than you would expect. Of 26 marketplaces read directly in September 2026, 16 publish some usage figure, 11 publish ratings, 6 publish an actual price, and exactly one, Webflow, publishes uninstalls. Six publish nothing measurable at all: Airtable, Asana, ClickUp, Squarespace, Intercom and Canva list app names and taglines and no numbers.

Before asking whether a marketplace is worth building on, it is worth asking whether it will tell you anything. Every other page in this collection exists because a marketplace published something. This one records what each of them publishes, including the ones that publish nothing.

"Usage" means any published figure for how much an app is used: installs, users, downloads, servers or automations. "Flag only" means the marketplace says an app charges without saying how much. "-" means the surfaces we paged through carried nothing.

One marketplace in twenty six publishes uninstalls

Webflow is the only one. Everywhere else the published number can only go up, because an install is counted once and never removed. That makes every catalogue look healthier than it is, and it is why the Webflow figure is worth knowing: on that marketplace the median app has lost 11.5 percent of its installs.

Six publish nothing

Airtable, Asana, ClickUp, Squarespace, Intercom and Canva list app names, taglines and categories. No installs, no ratings, no prices, on the listing card or the detail page.

This is not a small group and it includes large companies. On these marketplaces a buyer comparing two apps has nothing to compare, and a developer deciding whether a category is crowded or empty cannot find out from the outside.

Ratings are common, and mostly empty

11 marketplaces publish ratings, but publishing a rating is not the same as having any. Measured separately: 92.9 percent of Zoom apps have no rating, 89.9 percent of monday.com apps, 56.5 percent of Shopify apps and 29.6 percent of Wix apps. A star rating is available far more often than it is meaningful.

How this was measured

Between 6 and 8 September 2026 we read each of these 26 marketplaces directly: the public listing API where one exists, the embedded page data where it does not, and the rendered page where neither works. A field counts as published if a signed out visitor can obtain it. The individual datasets on this site record the exact endpoint used for each one.
